Management Team

David A Guerra, CPA, President of Meridian Finance Company, is responsible for the administration of a mezzanine fund that provides mezzanine financing to investors looking to acquire commercial Real Estate property. In addition, Mr. Guerra originates and heads the underwriting committee, coordinating financial analysis, due diligence review and institutional execution of all Meridian Finance activities. Mr. Guerra is a graduate of Northeastern University and did graduate work at Columbia School of Business. Prior to joining Meridian, Dave was employed with a Big 4 international accounting firm. More recently, he was responsible for the structuring, financing and sale of substantial real estate holdings of family owned real estate companies. Mr. Guerra is based in our Boston, MA office.

Ash Bhatia, Institutional Underwriting Manager, Meridian Finance Company, and a graduate of The Ohio State University (BS, BA in Accounting, 1996). Mr. Bhatia is responsible for the due diligence and underwriting review process of real estate assets.  Prior to joining Meridian, Ash held various positions within Marriott International. Most recently, he was a manager with Meridian SALT (State and Local Tax Services). During his tenure at Marriott International, Mr. Bhatia was an analyst on a worldwide profit improvement initiative benchmarking best practices across Marriott, Renaissance and Ritz-Carlton hotels. Ash is based in our Boston, MA office.
